Customer Review: The One We Fight Over

I work at a public garden where constant watering is required to maintain the beauty of the gardens. We have many different sprinklers: Nelson, Gilmore, and 2 battered Gardena 36965-6 HydroFan sprinklers and a battered larger version of the Gardena 36965-6 HydroFan. The first sprinklers chosen each morning are the Gardena 36965-6 HydroFans. They are so easy to adjust, the simple controls never stick and they work so well that we all want to use them. In fact the horticultural staff has been known to hide them so no one else can use them the next day.
We just purchased several Gilmore oscillating sprinklers which are much more difficult to use and certainly no broader in their water delivery. We wanted to buy more of the Gardena 36965-6 HydroFan but for some reason we were led to believe that they were no longer available. I am ecstatic that they are still being made and that I now own one for my personal use. I like to give my gardening friends different garden tools that I find useful in my work - I would definitely consider giving this as a gift to fellow gardeners.

I have owned this sprinkler for 5 years. It is certainly the longest lasting and easiest to use sprinkler I have ever owned. I am writing this review because I searched for the sprinkler to buy another one (one to use in the front yard and one for the back yard)....

I am very disappointed with the 36965-6 Hydrofan. It has been used only half a season and has stopped oscillating. I purchased it because I owned the Vario 3500-31976-6 for three years and loved the ability to custom-fit my spray pattern.Now it also has stopped oscillating.Customer Review: Great little sprinkler

I have used one of these little Gardena sprinklers for 15 years and found it reliable and easy to set for the area I wanted to water. It doesn't puddle and leak as so many oscillating sprinklers do. It is easy to set the spray to water small, narrow spaces, such as our 10' wide side yard without over-spray onto our neighbor's car or into our windows. I would recommend it to anyone who wants precise watering without waste.
